Privacy Policy
Station 4850 (“the App”) is a private industrial-injury toolkit for firefighters and public-safety members. This policy explains what data the App handles and what it does not collect.
1. Summary
- Claim notes, mileage, exposures, checklists, and profile fields are stored on your device only.
- We do not operate a claim cloud account for v1.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
2. Data stored on your device
Depending on what you enter, the App may store locally (for example in WebKit local storage):
- Claim profile (name, claim number, date of injury, adjuster contacts, etc.)
- Mileage trips, exposure logs, timeline events, notes, and checklist progress
- Form drafts you create in-app
- Membership tier status reflected from Apple after a purchase or restore
This information stays on the device unless you export a backup or copy content out of the App.
3. Data we do not collect
- No server-side claim database for the toolkit content you enter
- No advertising identifiers for tracking across apps
- No analytics beacons sending claim content to us
4. Purchases (Apple)
If you subscribe through the App Store, payment is processed by Apple. Apple may share limited purchase status (for example active subscription product identifiers) with the App so we can unlock membership features. We do not receive your full payment card number. See Apple’s privacy policy for payment processing.
5. External links
The App links to official resources (for example California DIR / DWC forms, LA County Risk Management, CPF PER). When you open those links, they open outside the App (Safari or another browser) and are subject to those sites’ policies.
6. Optional fonts / CDN assets
Some web-toolkit pages may load fonts or icons from third-party CDNs when a network connection is available. Those providers may receive standard technical request data (IP address, user agent). Claim content is not sent to them by design.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. Do not enter another person’s sensitive information without authority to do so.
8. Security
Device-local storage depends on your device passcode / biometrics and OS protections. Use device lock, keep iOS updated, and export backups only to places you trust.
9. Your choices
- Export or delete claim data from inside the App (My claim / backup tools).
- Uninstall the App to remove local toolkit storage associated with the App container.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
