Presumable (presumptive) injuries — firefighters

California Labor Code creates rebuttable presumptions that certain conditions in covered firefighters are industrial. The law starts on your side; the employer/claims admin must produce evidence to knock it out. Not every injury is “presumptive” — falls, lifts, and many ortho injuries still win as ordinary industrial claims.
